GLE101 AND ELS201 TRIP

Ms. Kopanka’s ELS201 Empowered English class and Mr. Hutton’s GLE101 Empowered Math class will be going to the Artisan Market at Gage Park in Hamilton.  There the students will be working in groups to budget out the cost of a craft before creating it.  Once the craft is complete they will try to sell it to their classmates by writing a descriptive ad that provides more information about what they created. This is a unique opportunity for the students to take what they have learned in class and apply it to a real-world scenario.
