Grade 7/8 OPEN HOUSE @ MacNab

On Wednesday, November 23, from 6 to 8 pm, MacNab Secondary will be hosting our Grade 7/8 Open House.  All grade 7 and 8 students living in MacNab’s catchment are invited with their families to attend.

The Principal will address the audience to start things off at 6 pm in the Auditorium, followed by valuable information from both current students and our Student Services department.  Following this, incoming students and their families will be invited to our cafeteria to speak to subject teachers and current students about the vibrant programming that MacNab has to offer.

Challenges with OSSLT Online Trial

Today, HWDSB students were among the 100,000 students in 900 secondary schools invited to participate in the province-wide trial of an online version of the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test (OSSLT). This was the first time for this voluntary online trial for the Grade 10 literacy test. Unfortunately, due to technical difficulties at EQAO most students were unable to log in and complete the test. This was a problem across the province.
