HWDSB Shares Parent Survey Results
Even in a challenging year, HWDSB welcomes and will respond to the valuable input families shared in the 2020 Parent/Guardian and Caregiver Voice Survey.
The survey, conducted every two years, asks how families view their interactions within classrooms, schools and the HWDSB.
“Now more than ever, it is clear that parents, guardians and caregivers play an important role in their child’s education and engagement in learning,” said Manny Figueiredo, Director of Education.
“We welcome feedback from families so that we understand what we do well, where we can improve and how families feel we should change.”
The survey supports the HWDSB annual plan goal to strengthen the connection between school and home. The survey had 1,505 response in 2018 and increased to 2,020 responses in 2020.
In addition to sharing results publicly, HWDSB will use this data to enhance engagement between home and school.
