Sir Allan MacNab – Death of Student

Dear Parents, Guardians, and Caregivers,

Students and staff at Sir Allan MacNab Secondary School are deeply saddened to learn of the death of Elijah Fabian, a Grade 11 student. We all share in the grief and sadness of having lost a student in our community.

Our condolences are extended to Elijah’s family and friends. As a sign of respect, our school flag will be lowered to half-mast.

Social workers will be available to support students. Parents, guardians, and caregivers can access Tips for adults supporting children and youth after distressing events at hwdsb.info/distressing to support your child when talking about the death of a fellow student.
