HWDSB’s Parent Involvement Committee (PIC) will be hosting a virtual session on the Human Rights and Equity at HWDSB. All HWDSB families and educators are invited to attend this session. This session will include presentations on Human Rights, Culturally Responsive and Relevant Pedagogy (CRRP), and Equity in Action, and discuss how historically and currently underserved students are supported at HWDSB.Presentations will be followed by a moderated question and answer session. Grade 7, 8, 9 and 10 Immunizations: Hamilton Public Health Services will be offering aschool vaccine catch-up clinic for students in grades 7, 8, 9 & 10. The clinic is open to students who missed receiving a first or second doses of Hepatitis B, HPV and Meningococcal ACYW135 vaccines as a result of the school immunization program being put on hold due to the pandemic.
