School News Sept 25

Hi All,

Co-Vid Symptoms and Morning Screenings:

At Home

Please continue to do your morning screenings.

Here is a flowchart for you to use when your child displays a symptom from the screening that you do each morning:COVID At Home Protocol

At School

When at school, your child may exhibit a symptom.  At that point we need to follow this flow chart: COVID At School Protocol

Now to help us help you, if a student has a symptom that is normal for them related to a known cause or condition, that would display a symptom, parents/guardians/caregivers are encouraged to provide this information as early as possible, before the symptoms display themselves.  For example, a student who has seasonal allergies might normally display sneezing/coughing or a runny nose.  If we do not know this and the student states they have, sneezing/coughing or a runny nose, then we will have to follow the follow chart.  Another example, might be your child takes medication that might cause an upset stomach.  If we do not know this, we will have to follow the flow chart.  So to help us help you, please email me directly if your child has a known cause or condition that would display itself as a symptom.  In your email, please include your child’s name, cause or condition and what symptom they would normally display.  My email is [email protected].

A list of the Co-Vid 19 symptoms that we check for can be found in this document: My Child Has COVID Symptoms
