Updates on Child Care

In December 2017, the Ministry of Education provided an opportunity to invest in child care for children from birth to 4 years of age at Huntington Park in partnership with Today’s Family.

In April 2019, both school boards (HWCDSB and HWDSB), and the City of Hamilton received notice from the Ministry of Education that new operating funding would not be provided for Huntington Park.   Unfortunately for Huntington Park, this means that given the current funding pressures, a child care centre will not be able to proceed.
