Orchard Park Principal and Vice Principal Update

Dear Orchard Park families,

I am writing to let you know that after a leave, Principal Kristen Armstrong and Vice-Principal Leanne Schaap are returning to Orchard Park beginning on Monday, May 29, 2023. The Board is thrilled to welcome both Principal Armstrong and Vice-Principal Schaap back. We have every confidence in their leadership. Principal Armstrong’s instructional knowledge and caring relationships with staff, students and families and Vice-Principal Schaap’s collaborative work with staff, principal and vice-principal team will continue to support students and families.

Temporary principal Brian Lennox will continue to support the school during this gradual return to work, and I would like to thank him for his ongoing care and attention to the school. A temporary vice-principal, Ms. Evelyn Wilkie, will also join Orchard Park starting on Thursday to support the school. I thank Brent Wallace for his support during the last few weeks.Thank you for your understanding and co-operation.
