Hello Families,
As we begin another week of remote, we know that many are feeling fatigued from the past year. We also understand that the quantity of screen time our students experience each day can be a problem for families. Know that our staff members understand these demands, so please reach out. Be sure to inform the teacher if your child needs a short movement break or plans to complete independent work with their screen off. Working together, we can support our students in finding a healthy balance without missing key learning.

HWDSB Launches First Student Census, We All Count – As part of its Equity Action Plan, Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board (HWDSB) will conduct its first student census to identify and remove barriers so all students can learn in supportive, inclusive, and respectful environments. We All Count: HWDSB Student Census 2021 will ask questions about student identities (race, gender, etc.) to identify and address systemic barriers.
