Mary Hopkins Important Updates
Good afternoon, Mary Hopkins Families,
This evening we will be holding our first School Council meeting for the 2023-2024 school year. This meeting is open to all and is a great opportunity to hear about our school action/improvement plan and other school activities.
Warmest congratulations to Mrs. Carley Casey on being reclaimed as our Council Chair. We will be holding an election for the position of Vice (Co) Chair this evening along with other key roles on council.
We look forward to coming together this evening in our Library Learning Commons. Our meeting will begin promptly at 6:30pm.
Upcoming Important Dates :
September 29th -Orange Shirt Day- We encourage all students to wear something ORANGE on Friday:)
October 2nd- National Custodial Workers Day – We are so grateful to our caretaking staff who work tirelessly in keeping our school safe and clean!
October 9th – Happy Thanksgiving ( no school )
October 17th – Child Care Worker & ECE Day – “An Early Childhood Educator takes a hand, opens a mind and touches a heart” and we are beyond lucky to have some of the best here at Mary Hopkins!
October 18th- Picture Day
October 20th – P. A Day ( no school )
