Progress Reports – Families can expect a print copy of the progress reports to come home on Friday, November 19. Elementary Progress Report Cards are used to inform parents of the progress students are making towards the achievement of curriculum expectations for each subject.  Reports will reflect the learning that has occurred in a modified learning environment as required by public health guidelines. Parents and caregivers who wish to discuss their child/ren’s progress should contact their child’s educator.

Message for Families Planning Out of Country Vacations – As we continue to see a reduction in COVID-19 restrictions, some of you may be considering travel plans in the near future. We wish to remind you that travel restrictions are continually changing. Please consider that currently, unvaccinated children under the age of 12 may be exempt from quarantine but are unable to return to school or childcare for 14 days upon their return from out-of-country visits. Use the Ontario COVID-19 school screening (ontario.ca) as a guide to current restrictions.

Photo Day – Photo Day is coming to Mary Hopkins on Friday, November 12.  All orders will be done directly through Edge Imaging. Details can be found in the attached flyer.  E – Student Notice (GS) – FY22

Student Voice Advisory Panel – The creation of Student Voice Advisory Committees is part of the ongoing effort to include the voices, experience, insight, and ideas of students who belong to groups that have been historically and currently marginalized by the education system.
