Mary Hopkins News – Nov 1

Hello Families,

I cannot believe it is November already.  We had a lot of fun last Friday and hope that you and your family were able to safely enjoy some Halloween fun over the weekend.

Kiss and Ride – Families using the morning parking lot for drop off are asked to keep to the safety protocols. Parking, walking through the lot and/or stopping mid-way put others at risk.

When using the Kiss and Ride;

  1. Be ready for a quick drop off.  Loading your vehicle at home with backpacks ready.
  2. Drive right up to the gate. On vehicle at a time.
  3. Let your child(ren) out on the passenger side.
  4. Continue to drive out of the lot.

Who is a Close Contact in a School? – Public Health has worked alongside our school board to create two infographics.  These will help families to better understand how contact tracing works in a school.  For additional support around questions, we also have a public nurse who is assigned to our school.  Please reach out if you are unsure about how to approach a specific situation or scenario.  We are here to work through it together.

Portal Forms – Additional forms have been posted on the Parent Portal.  Please visit the portal to access these forms.
