News and Events

Beach Day – Spirit Days are a great way for our staff and students to come together and have a little fun.  We encourage students to participate in our annual Beach Day this Friday.  Wear your beachwear and bring some sunshine to Mary Hopkins!

Milk and Pizza Orders Due – Milk and Pizza orders for April 6 – June 22 are due March 18.  Late order cannot be accommodated so please be sure to get your orders in on time.  Thank you to our parent volunteers who collate orders and support the distribution of pizza and milk each week.

Recorder Orders – Grade 4 & 5 students will soon be learning to play the recorder as part of the Music Program here at Mary Hopkins School.  Recorders and sheet music may be borrowed for use during the unit, but some parents may choose to order their own materials. The best value is the $10.00 package which includes a high-quality Yamaha recorder, storage case, music book and practice CD for use at home. These materials will be used in Grade 4 and 5, therefore you need only make a one-time purchase. Dollar store or toy recorders look the same, but are generally out of tune and are not recommended.  Orders must be made on SchoolCash online by March 12.  Subsidies are available.
