Future Ready 2024
WDHS Parent Council, in partnership with Healthy Youth Network, invites parents and students to attend an information evening on April 24th from 6 – 8pm to help students determine their career path, discuss career planning and the skills and resources to help students to be future ready. The evening will feature a speaker in the lecture hall, Kyle Cleveland, who will discuss topics such as the differences between university and college, how to finance post-secondary education, the benefits of co-op and more. There will then be many information booths to visit in the cafeteria hosted by various organizations to support all of these topics, including hands on learning opportunities, careers in the military, the trades, the arts and more.
