Secondary School Course Selections Can Now Be Approved in Parent Portal

Secondary school students, as well as Grade 8 students entering secondary schools in September, recently submitted their course selections for the 2023-24 school year. This process was completed in the XELLO platform.

Now that this process is complete, parents/guardians are asked to review and approve students’ course selections. Course requests can be accessed via Parent Portal. Please review and approve students’ selections as soon as you can to help ensure their placements in requested courses.

Instructions for Parents/Guardians to Approve

1. After logging in to Parent Portal, parents/guardians will be able to access course selection information under Class Registration.
2. To verify student course selections, click View course requests.
3. To approve course requests, click the box beside Approve Options for Student.
4. Be sure to click the Submit button
