Confirmed Case of COVID-19 at Ray Lewis

On December 22, Hamilton Public Health Services (HPHS) notified Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board (HWDSB) of a positive COVID-19 test result at our school. 

To protect the individual’s privacy, we do not disclose their name. 

School administrators will contact any students or staff identified as close contacts, who will self-isolate as directed by public health.  

Families are reminded to screen daily for COVID-19 symptoms using the provincial COVID-19 school and child care screening tool. Parents/guardians/caregivers, as well as students, should use this screening tool to help decide if you or your child/ren should or should not go to school/child care.
