Volunteer Applications Still Available
Dear Parents and Caregivers,
Thank you to those who have already submitted their volunteer applications. If you are still interested in volunteering at École Norwood Park, paper copies of the application package are available for pickup in the school office.
Parents and caregivers interested in volunteering must complete the following:

Volunteer Application Package
- Apply for a Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSS) through your local police (must be HWDSB-specific)

Review the HWDSB Volunteer Handbook
- Submit:

VSS Requirements
- Must be HWDSB-specific (other organizations’ VSS not accepted)
- Present VSS to school office before volunteering

Annual Offence Declaration
- Required yearly for two years after initial VSS
- New VSS needed every three years
Start early – VSS processing times may vary.
