Thank you for a successful lockdown drill!

We had our first lockdown drill today. I’d like to thank our staff and students for a successful drill! We would also like to thank Officers Dinning and MacCarron for their help with today’s practice.

In accordance with the board’s Secure School Protocol, we have the following drills a year:

• One “Hold and Secure” drill
• One “Shelter in Place” drill
• One “Evacuation” drill
• Two “Lockdown” drills

We also hold 3 fire drills in the fall and 3 fire drills in the spring, as required by our fire safety plan.
