Dear Families,

We are writing to inform you that Ecole Norwood Park will be holding  two additional secure

schools protocol drills in the coming weeks, so that staff and students are prepared in case

of an emergency.

Although these drills may sometimes involve a visit by members of the Hamilton Police Service, they will not be present at the school for these upcoming drills. Please make note of the dates of these upcoming drills and discuss them with your child(ren).

“Shelter in Place” – Took Place November 19th, 2025

“Hold & Secure” – Taking Place November 24th, 2025 at approximately 9:30 a.m.

“Lockdown” – Taking Place December 3rd, 2025 at approximately 11:30 a.m.

We appreciate the co-operation of our students and staff during the drill, and also parent/guardians discussing these with their child(ren) in advance of the drills.
