Lead Test Results for Drinking Water Fixture

Dear Parents, Guardians and Caregivers

In the fall, our school underwent water testing for lead, in accordance with the provincial regulations (O.Reg 243/07). A letter was posted on our school website on November 8 saying there was a potential concern identified with a drinking water fixture and that is was being removed from service until the fixture could be repaired.

Our Health & Safety representatives have consulted with Public Health and I am pleased to let you know that the fixture has been repaired and test results show that the repairs were successful. Therefore, the fixtures is safe to use and is being put back into service.
