Happy New Year & Construction Update

Happy New Year and Welcome Back to our Families! 

We are excited to announce our School Revitalization and Renewal project is complete. Today our Music Room and Gym were both open to students. This week the Learning Commons (formerly called the Library) will be unpacked by HWDSB librarian technicians and the space will be available to students. Two classrooms upstairs (Rooms 206 & 208) previously were finished at the beginning of November 2019. Both the Music room and Learning Commons have central air conditioning, something that will provide much needed relief for students and staff during hot weather months. 

Some final touches on the Music room and Learning Commons will be completed in the coming weeks. School Council has committed funding to new innovative seating and workspace ideas for the Learning Commons. We will be working on furnishing this space this winter. 

We thank students and staff for patience during the construction process this fall. A special Thank You to the HWDSB Facilities Project Planner/Associate Supervisor Ian Hopkins for his hard work and dedication to our project this year.
