Dear Families,
Earth Day – April 22nd – is fast approaching! Please see the calendar below for some of the activities planned at Norwood to celebrate. More details will follow.
April is a great month for students to start or continue doing Boomerang Lunches (taking all lunch waste home to recycle and compost) or even Waste Free Lunches. Since we only recycle paper at school, Boomerang Lunches make a huge difference. The two classes with the most Waste-Free lunches will win a prize party at the end of April & a draw will be held for a third winning class – each Waste-Free lunch brought this term equals 1 entry into the draw!
Norwood had its own Earth Hour on Friday March 22 from 2-3pm, and will have another on Earth Day and on the last Friday in April. Every time we conserve energy, we’re resisting Climate Change together. Thanks for lending a hand!
