Funding Announcement for Mount Albion

As you know, HWDSB is reimagining its role in the community by renewing school facilities to better meet the needs of families and students today and in the future. As the Upper Stoney Creek area continues to grow, we are seeking additional learning spaces to accommodate increasing student enrolment.

Today the Minister of Education announced $4,927,164 in funding to build an addition onto Mount Albion Elementary School. These funds will be used to replace the temporary structures currently on site with 10 permanent classrooms as well 3 new licensed child care rooms.
