X MOVEMENT NEWS:

We are only one week away from welcoming X-Movement to our wonderful Mary Hopkins School community. The team from X-Movement will be leading activities for all students (Kindergarten – Grade 5) during the Education Week, May 6th-May 9th. 

X Movement has delivered programs to over 1.5M children worldwide with a unique approach that merges physical activity, mindfulness, and social-emotional learning in an experiential learning journey. Throughout the week, all students K-Gr5 will have the opportunity to participate in 3 sessions with their teachers and X Movement leaders. 

Day One: “A Positive Mindset Powers You to Success”

• developing a positive mindset and turning negative thoughts into positive ones. Creating positive self-talk dialogue.

Day Two: “Embrace All of Your Emotions and Express Them In A Positive Way”

• Exploring different types of emotions and discovering positive ways to express emotions. Learning how to approach the different emotions of others.

Day Three: “You Can Do Anything You Put Your Mind To. Just Believe In Yourself”

• Embracing the power of confidence and inspiring students to be confident in who they are no matter what. Plus a summary of all previous lessons.
