Kanétskare Elementary School issues a Provincial Progress Report to each student in the fall, and a Provincial Report Card in January and June. Reports are one part of the comprehensive reporting process. The Provincial Reports for Grades 1 to 8 provides straightforward information to parents about their children’s achievement and progress in school, plans for future learning and what parents can do to support their child’s learning at home. Grade 6 students receive letter grades. Grades 7 and 8 students receive percentages and show grade averages. On the last page of the report card parents/students can make comments, which is signed and returned to their homeroom teacher.
