
Two free programs offered by the Centre for Diverse Learners for Social Skills
Social Skills: Friendships and Relationships is a program offered to students in grades 3-8 (grouped by school grade (e.g., grades 3-5, grades 6-8, and grades 9-12). This interactive program uses roleplays, discussions and other fun activities to help children and youth build confidence in making and maintaining friendships, as well as improving communication skills. This program runs once a week, for 9 weeks. Families can register using this link.
Social Skills: Executive Functioning has been designed to help students in grades 6-12 strengthen skills like time management, organization, and planning. Students will learn practical strategies for studying, completing projects, and working independently.
