Happy Holidays
Dear Parents/Caregivers:
Thank you for having high expectations, voicing new ideas and asking questions like, “what if we considered this… and why do we do things this way?
Thank you for working hard. Hard work is usually the difference maker. Looking at our school, I appreciate the cleanliness and hard work that our caretaking team puts in each and every day to support our learning environment. Our educators, (teachers and educational assistants, CYCP) for going the extra kilometre to support students, learn new teaching methods/technology and mentoring each other. Thank you, to Ms. Murphy, Mrs. Barlow and Ms. Marrone for going above and beyond the call of duty to do the right things for our school community. Thank you to School Council for their consistent and energetic support.
The Habit of Mind, I’m thinking about right now is:
Finding Humour: Willing to laugh appropriately; Look for the whimsical, absurd, ironic and
unexpected in life; Laugh at myself when I can.
I know it seems counter intuitive during these challenging times; however, I encourage you to actively look for humour and see what energy this creates.
Stay safe and enjoy the time with your families. I look forward to a fantastic 2022 working with our school community.
All the best,
Mr. M. Hopkins
