Family Fun Night Call for Volunteers

Hello Kanetskare Families!
We are happy to announce that Kanétskare Middle School is hosting a Family Engagement Night on April 22nd. What is this you might ask? It is an event planned with the sole purpose of nurturing family connection and well-being through participation in activities together.
We are looking for parent volunteers to help run activities for the evening. If you have experience or skills in any of the following areas (or other skills and ideas that are not mentioned below but which you feel might work as an activity) and are willing to volunteer your time, we would love to hear from you!
Possible activities include: Pilates, Yoga, Self-Defense, Meditation, Sports Clinics, racquet sports (gym), Crafts, Origami, Henna, Card games, Cooking, Painting/Illustrating, Carving, Dancing, Family Photo Booth, Crocheting, Sewing, Jewelry Making, Line Dancing, and Karaoke.
Volunteers would help lead or supervise one activity for the night. No teaching certificate is required—just a willingness to share your skills and support our school community.
Not sure if your skills are a good fit or if the cost might be too high to volunteer? Please reach out to us! We are looking to make this an inclusive event with representation from all of our Kanetskare families and we are working with a small budget to accommodate costs where need be.
Please reach out to the committee at [email protected]
If you are able to lead one of the activities, have an idea for another activity or with any questions.
Responses due by February 6th!
Thank You
Kanetskare School Council
