Grade 7 Vaccine Clinic Reminder

Gr. 7 Vaccine Clinic – Thursday, April 24th

Hamilton Public Health Services will be holding a grade 7 vaccine clinic at Kanetskare Elementary School on Thursday April 24, 2025.  This clinic is an opportunity for your child to receive the following vaccines: Hepatitis B, Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) and Meningococcal. The Meningococcal vaccine is required to attend school under the Immunization of School Pupils Act (ISPA). Under ISPA, Ontario law requires students to have up-to-date immunization records or valid exemptions filed with Public Health to avoid future school suspensions.  Parents/guardians if your child gets a vaccine anywhere other than a public health clinic, please remember to report and update your child’s immunizations or valid exemptions to Public Health. Public Health does not automatically receive this information from health care providers, so it’s important that you submit it yourself.
