We are excitedly getting ready for our open house being held at the school on Thursday October 10th from 5pm-6:30pm and we are once again, after a pause for a few years, hosting the Scholastic Book Fair! It will be hosted in the library so don’t forget to stop by and check things out. Your investment in your reader helps our whole school. All purchases earn Scholastic Dollars that are redeemed for books and educational resources for our school’s classrooms and library. You will also see Teacher’s Wish Lists posted at the book fair and if you so choose, you can purchase a book or two for your child’s classroom. You can pay using cash, credit card, or your debit card so it’s a convenient way to support our school while purchasing books for upcoming parties, holidays, and for your kiddos!

     We also will be accepting new and gentle used sports equipment for daily physical activity during our Meet The Teacher Night. We are looking for volleyballs, basketballs, soccer balls, footballs, utility balls, frisbees and skipping ropes. If you have anything to donate, please stop by the main office to drop off donations into our sport bins.

     Our school is a very busy place with many clubs and extracurricular activities up and running. Please check out our school website as announcements for the day are posted by 10:30 am every morning. This is a great way to stay informed about what is happening in the school.

     Picture day will be on October 30th. We are also very excited about Spirit Wear. Flyers and more information will be sent home soon. Pizza days are coming up and the last day to order is October 18^th through School Cash Online.

     One thing we have noticed over the last two weeks are some students are not placing personal devices  into their lockers when arriving at school in the morning. Please speak to your child about the importance of ensuring all devices are locked in lockers and only used with teacher permission for instructional purposes. If a student does not have a lock they are more the welcome to bring their device to the office where it can be secured in a locked cell phone tower in the principal’s office.

     Just a reminder if you need to reach your child during the school day, please contact the office directly as we are more than happy to assist or write a note in the agenda.
