May 3rd Announcements

HWDSB kind fundraising has begun and one student from 7A is off to an amazing start! Join them in fundraising for our school technology initiative and help spread kindness to our school community. We will begin our kindness week on May 13th.

The School Council is looking forward to hosting our second annual Kanétskare Spring Café on Wednesday, May 8th from 5:00-6:30 (or until we sell out) in the learning commons (library). Grade 6 students are running the cafe, where you can purchase a sweet treat and a beverage (cash only please), grab a seat and visit for a few minutes. We can only do this with the support of our parent community. We are soliciting donations of food, drinks, supplies and time. We’ve listed all the donations we are looking for as well as time slots for parents who can volunteer their time the night of the cafe. If you have any questions, please direct them to Megan Evans (Chair of School Council): [email protected]. All proceeds from the cafe will be invested in improvements to the Learning Commons (Library) for the benefit of all students at the school.
