Kanétskare Happenings Dec.12th-16th

Good afternoon Kanétskare Families,

We are hoping everyone is doing well.  We are really excited about the activities and events at our school. The SR Girls’ and Boys’ basketball teams are up and running.  A reminder that we will have JR Basketball teams in the Spring.  The Robotics club has just started as well.

We will be selling pizza in the New Year to help subsidize the cost of educational excursions.  We will be sending out information on how to order pizza next week.  All sales will be done through School Cash Online.

Our grade 8 team went to Westdale this morning to discuss the transition process for our grade 8 students heading to Westdale Secondary School.  Plans include: a parent information night regarding option sheets, secondary staff to share the option sheet process with our students, transition meetings and a grade 8 day for students to visit Westdale in May.
