Kanétskare Happenings (Oct. 10th-14th)

We wish our cross-country team all the best as they compete at Christie Lake Conservation Area on Tues. Oct. 11th.  Thank you to Mr. Steel, Mme Durajlija and Ms. Buttenham for coaching.  Our volleyball teams are completing try-outs and continuing to practice for the upcoming season.

Our in-school logo committee (students and staff) has been collaborating over the past few weeks to narrow down our options for building our new logo and colours for Kanétskare Elementary School.  We have shared this list with our superintendent for approval.  The final step, will be our student and staff vote.  Stay tuned as we continue this exciting journey.

Finally, I would like to share my congratulations to both Ms. Augustyn and Mr. Kendall who have accepted full time positions at other schools within HWDSB.  I will be interviewing next week to fill these two positions and the permanent teachers will be in place by Oct. 17^th.
