Kanétskare Happenings-Sept. 9th

Good afternoon Kanétskare Families,

Thank you for an excellent first week at school.  We are excited about the opportunities and experiences that lie ahead for our school community.  We initiated our School Logo Contest.  Students and families have an opportunity to contribute their logo/mascot ideas and our new school colours.  All students have received a form.  Please see the document below for guiding questions.  All submissions are due by September 23rd at 3pm.  We will be forming a school based committee to narrow down the choices to 3-5 options.  Following this, a student and staff vote will take place to determine our new school colours and logo/mascot.

We will be sending information home about joining our School Council next week.  Also, a reminder if your child has medical conditions that we need to be aware of, please contact the school so we can update or create a Plan of Care for your child.
