Looking Forward-March 8th-12th

Good afternoon all,

I would like to thank our school community for your great communication and patience as we continue to work together to make sure our school is safe for our students and staff.  Our students have had a few indoor recesses due to the ice and a  couple of muddy days to work through.

A few reminders as we move forward:

• Please try to have students arrive on time before the 8:40 a.m. bell.  This helps our students come in with their classes, avoids lineups and cohort mixing at the front door and causes less disruptions during morning learning times
• Students are reminded that all calls home during the day for illness need to go through the school office where Ms. Murphy and Mrs. Barlow can assist
• Please endeavour to send a water bottle with your child to school each day so they can remain properly hydrated
• Your child’s report card will be coming home today.  Please review, take a look at next steps for improvement and reach out to us if you have any concerns.
• There is no school tomorrow as we have a PA Day tomorrow.  Staff will be focusing on equity learning, reading improvement and student success strategies to support the transistion to high school.
