Looking Forward Jan. 18th-22nd

Good morning Ryerson Families,

I’m reflecting on my second week at Ryerson and I continue to be thankful to work with such a supportive school community.  I had the opportunity to collaborate with School Council last week.  We are currently in the process of purchasing additional technology to support student learning.  School Council are also meeting to brainstorm possible ideas for grade 8 graduation with the flexibility of following and adjusting to public health protocols.

We have school pictures lined up for grades 6 and 7 on Feb. 16th with graduation photos to follow on Feb. 17th and 18th.  School Spirit wear is coming soon with Grad hoodies to follow shortly.

Our school is getting brighter each day as we near the completion of new windows, blinds and doors.  Thank you to our caretaking staff for your flexibility and hard work as our school is excecptionally clean.

I have had the opportunity and pleasure to visit classrooms virtually this week.  I’m thrilled to see the passion for learning from students and staff.  Thank you to our staff for being true professionals.  I continue to encourage everyone to work hard, have patience, focus on the areas you can influence and most importantly be kind to yourselves.
