Gently Used Clothing & Shoes Are Needed
Dr. Davey School in Hamilton is in a high needs area. Last year, school staff relied on donations of gently used clothing and shoes to provide basic items for students. Their shoe/boot bin has run out and children are coming to school in footwear that is too small causing foot pain, full of holes or with no tread on the bottom creating a slip and fall hazard. Gently used coats, jackets and hoodies are also needed as the weather is getting colder.
As you clean out closets in the coming weeks, please consider sending these to JMac so we can get them to local children who are in great need. Any and all contributions gratefully accepted!
