School Offices Closed for the Summer

Just to remind parents and students, our school office is closed for the summer, between Tuesday, July 4 and Friday, August 25. We will be unable to respond to any messages during this time. Our offices will reopen on Monday, August 28.

Changes to Non-Credit Summer Programs for Students in Grades 7 to 10

Community and Continuing Education is pleased to offer a variety of Non-Credit Summer Programs for students in Grades 7 to 10.
Some of the programs have been cancelled, but for those that are still running, the deadline to register has been extended to midnight on Friday, June 9.

At HWDSB, we believe all students and staff have the right to learn and work in a safe environment. To do that, it is important that everyone is aware of our Safe Schools policy and procedures to help reduce the risk of harm to students, staff, visitors and facility users in the event of a violent or serious incident.

      Watch: Just One Wish Kindness Awards
      The third annual Just One Wish Kindness Awards were held on July 1, 2017 in Gage Park during the It's Your Festival celebrations for Canada's 150th birthday. Organizers honoured 151 children (150 for Canada's birthday and one for good luck), age 4 to 18, from across HWDSB for their kindness. These children exemplify what is means to be Canadian and what Canada is all about. Congratulations to all!
