Every summer since 2008, Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board has partnered with not-for-profit groups through the Focus on Youth program to support them in delivering free or low cost summer programs and activities that keep young people safe and active. Student Employees: Focus on Youth application will open on Monday April 13, 2015. Application closes at 4:00 pm on Thursday April 30th, 2015. If you have question or concerns regarding the application, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or 905.527.5092 ext 2374 Student Employee Qualifications: * must be 16 to 21 years of age as of June 12th, 2015 * must have been registered in an HWDSB program in 2014-15 * interest or talents in one or more of the following areas: sports, arts/crafts, school community leadership, music/drama/dance, cultural activities, caretaking, technology * must be able to commit to work on June 13th, and July 2nd to August 14th (weekdays) 30 to 40 hours per week (varies by site)
