Welcome to Yorkview Elementary
Yorkview is a small elementary school on the North East side of Dundas, Ontario. Built in 1952, it has all the charm of an older building. The teachers have worked hard at the school to teach a solid curriculum with great results. We are all proud of our accomplishments in academics, character education and in sports.
The community is very enthusiastic and helpful. The school council has taken an active role in many school activities and supported many activities financially as well. The School Council has taken on many fundraisers to assist the school in purchasing some of the technologies, like SmartBoards, to keep the curriculum and the teachers up to date.

To work in partnership with the Yorkview community to foster caring, responsible, life-long learners who are socially conscious, independent problem-solvers and productive citizens.
Mission Statement
Our mission is to partner with the community to provide a safe and supportive learning environment wherein each student will achieve his/her highest academic and social potential. The Yorkview staff and school community at large will work together to create this safe, positive learning environment.
Belief Statement
We believe that all students have the right to an environment wherein they are afforded the opportunity to reach their full potential. We believe that students have the right to a safe, supportive environment. We believe that the education of children involves the community.
