Valentines’ Day and Other Reminders

Good afternoon, Richard Beasley Parents and Guardians

I have a few reminders for you going into this new week of learning at Richard Beasley:

Tomorrow is Valentines’ Day. If you want to send in a special treat for your child only, it should be pre-packaged and nut-free. Cards can be shared with other classmates and will be distributed at the end of the day to be read at home.

If you haven’t returned the pink vaccine packages to school, please do so tomorrow; Public Health will be picking them up soon.

Thursday is Pink Day – Random Acts of Kindness Day. Students can wear pink to celebrate.

Friday’s Spirit Day will be Canada at the Olympics; please have your child(ren) dressed in red and white to celebrate the end of the Winter Olympics.

Report cards will be going home on Friday, ahead of the long Family Day Weekend.

And, as ever, we ask that you remember to make sure that your child has the following in their backpack for a successful day at school: A refillable water bottle, their agenda or important bag, their signed COVID screening calendar, their indoor shoes, and proper utensils to eat their food with on nutrition breaks.

Let’s all have a great week!!
