Information Update

Hello Richard Beasley Parents and Guardians

I have four pieces of information for you:

Friday November 26^th is a Professional Development day and therefore, Richard Beasley School will be closed to students.  Have a safe and happy extended weekend!

Monday November 29^th is Photo Day!!  Proofs will be delivered to the school to go home with your child(ren), and then ordering will take place online.  We also have a retake day scheduled for just after we return from the Winter Break – Monday January 10^th.

Tuesday November 30^th is Spirit Day – this month’s theme will be Sweatshirts and Sweatpants!  Part of our Spirit Day will also consist of a Food Drive – we ask all our students to bring in something to donate to a local Food Bank.  Some of the items that would be appreciated are:

Peanut Butter

Pasta and Sauce

Canned fruit or vegetables, soup, stew or chili

Canned tuna in water

Rice, oatmeal, baby food or baby formula

New socks, mitts and hats

This year’s Winter Break will begin on Saturday December 18^th, with a return to school on Monday, January 3^rd.  If you travel overseas during the Winter Break, please remember to factor in quarantine before returning your child to school.
