School Access Update

Dear Parents, Guardians and Siblings,

In the interest of student safety, we will no longer be allowing any parents in the hallways, at lockers or in the classrooms of our school, at any time between the hours of 8:30 am – 3:45 pm.  Upon entry to the school for any reason, including the YMCA before and after school care program, caregivers must immediately come to the office and office staff will direct you and/or make arrangements to get your children to or from the office with their belongings.  If your child is being dropped off to a particular staff member, they will greet you at the front doors or on the back playground and help your child take their belongings to their locker.  If you need to speak to a staff member, please make an appointment ahead of time or leave a message for them at the office and they will get back to you as soon as possible, to make arrangements. At the end of the day, parents, guardians and/or siblings will not be permitted to enter the school and are asked to be patient as you wait for your child. We know that throughout the winter months it sometimes will take children longer to make their way outside. Staff members are outside on duty if you have any question or concerns.
