“Superhero Week”

Week 3: May 18-22
“Superhero Week”. Superheroes come in all forms. During this time, many of our
community’s heroes don’t wear capes. They are our frontline healthcare workers,
and essential service workers who go to work each day to make sure Canadians
have what they need to survive this pandemic. Let’s show our appreciation to
these people. Maybe they are people right in your own home. Make a sign, take
a photo, or write a card telling us who your hero is.

At Pauline Johnson, we pride ourselves on our school spirit and sense of
community. During this Ministerial school shutdown, we are all missing our PJ
family and the smiles and faces we are used to seeing each day.
We would like to bring our school community together again by having students
and staff participate in PJ Spirit weeks. Each week in May we will be asking willing
students and families to send us photos of their school spirit. These photos can
be posted to classroom sites by our teachers.
