Seasons Greetings from Mount Hope!

Dear Mount Hope Families,

We hope you are getting ready for the upcoming holiday season and looking forward to spending time with family & friends over the break.  Students last day will be on Friday December 20th with a return on Monday January 6th to welcome the New Year!

We wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for your commitment and dedication to our Chocolate and Poinsettia fundraisers to enhance our programming capabilities and bring the world to our classrooms with the use of technology.  Both fundraisers were a success and we are in the process of purchasing netbooks for students and installing hardware in classrooms to accelerate learning opportunities for all. We have purchased a class set of netbooks to support full class technology learning opportunities and will have them ready for our classrooms in January following the holiday break!  We are excited to start this journey and thank you for making it happen!

With next week being our last week before the holiday break we wanted to share the following special events that will take place at Mount Hope. We welcome Parent(s) & Guardian(s) to join in on,

Thursday December 19th –  11 – 12 pm Kindergarten Holiday Concert in our gymnasium

Thursday December 19th – Red & Green Spirit Day

Friday December 20th –  11 a.m Whole School Christmas Caroling in our gymnasium

 Mount Hope will also be running a Warm Clothing Drive from Mon. Dec.16th – Thurs. Dec. 19th.  For families that have extra gently used hats, mitts and scarves, all donations will go to a local charity. We thank you for giving to those in need this holiday season.
