Millgrove Update

Dear Millgrove Families,
As you are aware, the Ministry of Education has directed both elementary and secondary schools to transition to remote learning beginning April 19th, 2021.
The shift to remote learning does not change the school day or school schedules. Instead, it requires a shift from in-person to remote learning.
The shift to remote learning will continue until the Ministry of Education provides direction on moving back to in-person learning.
Millgrove staff will be connecting with all families on Monday to check in and make sure that students are ready for remote learning beginning on Wednesday.  Staff will confirm if there is a device request for your child at this time.  If you did not request a device, you are able to do so at this time.  Devices will be delivered to the school for distribution on Mondays.  If you have an issue with a personal or school device at any time, notify your child’s teacher immediately so that the school can request a new device from the Board and get this to you as quickly as possible.  All devices to a family will be distributed at the eldest child’s time slot.
On Tuesday, April 20 devices requested before the closure will be distributed at the following times:
Nedelko – 9-10
Dahmer – 10-11
Price – 11-12
May – 12-1
Stevens 1-2
If you cannot come at the allotted time, please come at a sibling’s time for pick up.
Millgrove staff look forward to connecting with you Monday and ‘seeing’ you on Wednesday.  Stay safe and be well.
