Winter Wear & Indoor Shoes

Winter has arrived!  Please practice having your child put on and take off snowsuits, boots, hats and gloves by themselves.  This is an annual request as this can be a lengthy process with 20+ children.  With COVID, staff are verbally prompting students to support them getting ready to go outside for outdoor activities.  This is standard to support students to learn to independently dress themselves and is especially important this year as we try to maintain some distance to keep all staff and students safe.  Families can send a pair of indoor shoes with their child which can stay at school Monday to Friday.  Please write your child’s name in both shoes as these will be kept on the rack in the hallway and can get mixed up with other shoes in the hallway.
