New School on Greensville Site – Rescheduled Transition Meeting

November 19, 2020

Dear Parents and Guardians of Spencer Valley and Millgrove,

Re: New School on Greensville site

As part of the West Flamborough School Consolidation Plan, a new 381 pupil place Jk-8 elementary school is being built on the former Greensville site to accommodate students from Spencer Valley and Grade 6-8 students at Millgrove. The new school also includes two child care rooms. The City of Hamilton Community Centre and Hamilton Public Library branch will follow the construction of the school, creating the Greensville Community Hub project.

The first day of school at the new site is scheduled for Monday January 4, 2021. Following the opening of the new school, Spencer Valley will close.

Below please see an upcoming meeting to update families about plans for the new school.
