School Messenger – Absences and Lates

Students and parents will have significantly limited access to the main office. Therefore, all parents are expected to report absences, lates and early dismissals through School Messenger.  Please make sure that your School Messenger account is active.  Staff will arrange to escort your child to meet you at the front entrance for an early dismissal.  Parents/guardians/caregivers are asked to call their child’s school before attending in person as access is very limited and may require wait time before entry.  Upon arrival, all visitors must review the signage on the external doors and review the screening tool HWDSB Access Guidelines During COVID-19.  If the visitor passes the screen, they must contact the Main Office via the buzzer.  Visitors must sanitize hands upon entry and go to the Main Office, the office administrator will complete the Visitor Log, which includes information for contact tracing purposes as well as confirmation that they have completed the Screen before entry. Visitors must sign out with the office staff when they leave.  All visitors to a school must wear a medical mask. These masks will be provided during sign-in if the visitor does not have one.  We appreciate your support keeping Millgrove School safe for students and staff.
