Hallowe’en Plans

On Friday, October 30th, we will be having a small Hallowe’en celebration. Our students are invited to come to school wearing  black & orange theme or a costume that works with the guidelines below.
This year, due to our safety protocols, we will not be having a school parade, however, each class will arrange their own activities for the last hour of the school day including a school-wide BINGO game.
Costumes:
Students who choose to wear a costume are to come to school wearing the costume and be able to keep it on for the duration of the day.  Please keep in mind, that if for any reason they are needing to change,  it would need to be easily removed in the classroom by the student, so appropriate clothing would need to be worn underneath.
– must be able to accommodate a mask as per COVID requirements
-no weapons, or items that impede vision
-no loose parts or accessories such as a wand, basket, etc. that might get lost/broken
-no inappropriate images
Treats:
For safety reasons, sharing of treats, even pre-packaged ones are not permitted. Please send in a few treats or an extra snack for your child to enjoy during the class celebration.
We are looking forward to creating some fun Hallowe’en memories for our students next Friday.
